Make the Change…I did!
‘My hustle and my motivation have been increasing and I am getting so much more done.”
What has working out done for me? It has brought so much back into my life. I feel and look healthier, I have lost 13lbs so far (as of this post). I have not weighed myself in over a week and will at the end of the challenge I am doing. I am more disciplined in not only my eating habits and my workouts, but my life! My hustle and my motivation have been increasing and I am getting so much more done. I am stepping out more out of my comfort zone and I am really focused in my Essential Oils business, more on that in future posts. My devotional life has been more consistent and in turn my faith is being built as I dive into the word of God. I have a morning routine before the kids get up that has been starting my day off strong. I can go on and on! I am much happier and I choose joy more and more!! All this started for me consistently when I started caring again about my body, my health and my sanity.
- I had to put away every excuse that I had and just do it! Here are some of my excuses that you might relate to…
- I don’t have time with all these kids….
- I can’t do many of the exercises because I have a separation in my stomach muscles (Diastasis Recti…I modify my workouts so I don’t do more damage and have been getting results)…
- I don’t like to cook… lol
- I have no motivation…
- I don’t get enough sleep…
I think you get the point! It took someone like my cousin Gigi that literally said you can do this and I will help you walk this out… It’s not only your journey but it is mine too!! I had someone that believed in me more than I believed in myself at the time and she kept saying it until I believed it myself.
I had someone that believed in me more than I believed in myself…
So if you are full of excuses like I was, I would get an accountability partner or a couch with an authentic passion to help people. This made the difference for me! The other huge thing that is true with many areas of my life, is I have to know my “why”! Once I find it…it drives me! This is MY why, I want to be fit and healthy to be around a long time for my kids, my grandkids and even my great-grandkids. I also just want to look and feel better, it’s physical and emotional and I had to start now! Hope this mama of 6 inspired you a little at least to make a change that will bring only good to in your future! leave a comment below and let me know your struggle. I would love to connect with you!
